IR 200 PLUS

Compact and easily portable band saw for fast and comfortable cutting of rails, with the option of angled cuts. It is primarily used for rail repairs and maintenance.

For the easiest possible transport, the band saw is made up of two separate units:

• The clamping unit with a system for advancing the saw‑blade arm into the cut. It allows very simple, quick and reliable clamping to the rail. Advancement into the cut is performed by simply turning a hand wheel. Maximum cutting accuracy and long service life are ensured by the overall robust construction of the system with guidance on hardened chrome‑plated rods.

• The saw‑blade arm is a solid aluminum casting. A professional, quiet and maintenance‑free drive of the saw blade is provided by an industrial electric motor with a worm gearbox. The accuracy of the blade guidance in the cut is ensured by a precise three‑sided carbide guide for the saw blade.

Very simple and quick mounting of the saw‑blade arm and locking to the clamping system. The machine is equipped with a cooling and lubrication system for the saw blade. From the pressure tank, the emulsion is led directly to the cutting area. When biodegradable emulsions are used, operation of the cooling system is completely ecological. For easy transport, the saw‑blade arm is fitted with large handles that also serve as protection during handling and storage. The machine is manufactured in versions 1 x 230 V (blade speed 40 m/min) or 3 x 400 V (blade speed 40/80 m/min).
